ClickUp Workspace Health Score: Measure What Is Working and What Is Not

A health score turns a vague feeling that ClickUp is messy into a graded report you can act on. It looks at how the workspace is structured, how fields, statuses and automations are used, and where effort is wasted. It can cover the whole Workspace, a team or a department. This guide explains what we measure and the configuration we build around it.

What ClickUp Does Today

What You Can Do Natively

Start with the features available on your ClickUp plan.

No Single Health View

ClickUp shows pieces of the picture, such as member lists, automation activity and audit logs on some plans, but no single score for the whole workspace.

Audit Logs

Audit logs exist for tracking changes. Plan availability varies, so check your plan before relying on them.

Workbench Reports

Kodavara Workbench builds a branded workspace performance report with domain slides, grades and maturity ratings, and the Strategic Auditor produces detailed audit reports with run logs.

Workbench Audit

The Workbench audit reads tags, custom fields, statuses, task types, checklists, assignees and time tracking, with usage scoring and exports to CSV and JSON.

Where It Falls Short

The Gaps People Run Into

If these are your problem, keep reading.

  • Without a score, problems are found by complaint, so the loudest issue gets fixed rather than the biggest.
  • Usage data across fields, tags and statuses is spread over many screens.
  • A score by itself changes nothing. It needs owners, a short fix list and a re-check date.
  • Scores are only comparable over time if the method stays the same.
  • Teams and departments differ, so one workspace-wide number can hide a team that is struggling.

FAQ

Common Questions

Not here? Ask us.

Does ClickUp have a workspace health score?

No single native score. A Workbench report grades the workspace across domains, and we add the interpretation and plan.

Can you score one team or department?

Yes. We scope the review to the whole Workspace, a team or a department.

What does the score look at?

Structure, custom fields, statuses, automations, access and usage.

Does the score fix anything?

No. It shows where to act. We rank the fixes and can do them or hand them to your admin.

How often should we re-score?

Quarterly suits most teams, using the same method each time so results compare.

Can I export the results?

Workbench audits export to CSV and JSON.
