Pipedrive and ClickUp: Turn Won Deals into Delivery Work

ClickUp has a native Pipedrive Sync, labelled beta and listed for Business Plus and Enterprise plans. It syncs deals, organizations, people and activities to tasks. After the first sync only task names stay two-way, and other fields flow one way from Pipedrive. This guide covers what that gives you and the configuration we build when you need a fuller handoff.

What ClickUp Does Today

What You Can Do Natively

Start with the features available on your ClickUp plan.

Pipedrive Sync

A native integration that creates ClickUp tasks from Pipedrive deals, organizations, people and activities. It is labelled beta, so check its current status.

How Deals Map

A deal title becomes the task name and the pipeline stage becomes the task status. Deal ID, value, organization, contact and next activity date map to Custom Fields.

Mostly One Way

After the initial sync, only task names sync both ways. Other fields flow from Pipedrive to ClickUp.

Alternatives

Unito offers two-way sync, a Pipedrive Marketplace app can create ClickUp projects from a template when a deal reaches a chosen stage, and Zapier and Make cover simple flows.

Where It Falls Short

The Gaps People Run Into

If these are your problem, keep reading.

  • Pipeline stages map to statuses, so the mapping is rigid. A pipeline change needs a matching change in ClickUp.
  • Because most fields are one way, edits made in ClickUp do not update the deal.
  • It is beta, so scope and behaviour may change, and the plan requirement means it is not available on every plan.
  • Third-party options add their own accounts and costs and need to be reviewed as vendors.
  • The sync creates tasks from deals, but it does not by itself build the delivery project, assign owners or set dates.
